Problem
HiSpec were tasked with illuminating a Maori Pou Wheneu in Orewa to showcase the monument at night and optimise the local area aesthetics.
Solution
HiSpec used three in-ground 30W Metal Halide lights to illuminate the Pou. By adjusting the lights, we were able to achieve the maximum amount of light on the Pou from the best angle.
Results
The Pou Wheneu now welcomes people to Orewa during the day and at night. Local residents can now appreciate a beautifully lit landmark and visually enhanced surroundings. The council is pleased that it has added 24-hour appeal to their environmental initiative and investment.
